A few weeks ago, I happened to stumble upon an amazing Mansur Gavriel sample sale and indulged myself in a little somethin’ somethin’ – this beautiful mini bucket bag in the colour Rococo, a perfect colour for fall and winter. I had been eyeing the mini in this colourway for a year but was never able to get my hands on one because the colour was always either sold out or unavailable. When I saw this bag available in the same colour I had been coveting for months, I really couldn’t pass up the opportunity and literally pranced and skipped to grab my credit card! I was all sunshine and rainbows but a few complications occurred, which can happen with any order… firstly, the gorgeous red colour I ordered was not in good enough condition to be sent out. I happily chose a replacement colour but later discovered that bag was sent in error to an address in Singapore! I was disheartened, expecting to be issued a refund, but I reached out to the Mansur Gavriel support team who were incredibly accommodating. After a few email exchanges, they sent me a brand new bag in the colour I originally ordered for the same price! Amazing. Now that’s what I call customer service. You can shop this bag here.
There is something so simple and timeless about this piece that makes it incredibly easy to pair. It captures that minimal aesthetic which I absolutely adore, makes a statement, and it can transform a casual outfit and make it look effortlessly put together. Not to mention the suede material feels so smooth and luxurious. Ever since I received my mini bucket bag in the mail, it has been love at first sight and I have been carrying it with me everywhere I go, which these days mostly consists of cafes as I am currently in the process of job searching, and also because the weather here is already in the negatives. I’ve got a long week ahead with many more applications to fill out but knowing I have my blog to come back to is keeping me sane. Stay tuned for more updates to come, I hope everyone is having a lovely week!
