Wilfred top, Paige cropped straight legged jeans, Mumokuteki earrings
The flowers are now blossoming here in Toronto, bringing back memories of the dreamy sceneries of cherry blossom trees back in Japan (Himeji castle grounds pictured). I’ve still got more photos from our Japan trip that I’ve been procrastinating to put together but will be posting those soon!
When I think of spring, fresh, crisp whites automatically come to mind, along with colours of nature like greens and blue hues. Colours are a great way of adding personality to a look, but I can always count on a clean and simple number like this Wilfred top to do the trick in making me feel brighter – so basic yet structured, so good. It also sort of gives off Audrey Hepburn vibes too, and that is always a plus in my books.
It’s amusing to think about how my style has evolved over the years from quirky and bold to more simple and clean. I seem to be working in the reverse direction and have come a long way back to simplicity, to a blanc slate so to speak (yes! pun intended). Who knows what direction my neutral-dominant wardrobe will take next, but I suppose experimenting with different looks is all part of the fun!
